Charlie Parr Vienna Concert reviews
Full of Heart and Soul
After seeing Carol and James at the Garden, I was very disappointed in sightlines. The performers were great! Stevie and Charlie Parr were specs (reminded me of seeing the Beatles in '62) and the equipment was obstructing every screen that might have provided a glimpse. The turning center stage with gigantic screens was obviously part of the Reunion tour, too bad, 'cause it was fabulous. Neither has lost their touch or talent. I was not happy with venue. Also could have done with more volume on vocals and less on instruments, although the musicians were awesome! BTW, Charlie Parr's singers really give Tina and the 'Ikettes' a run. and I am a huge Tina fan!
